About
Welcome home to Memorial United Methodist Church where we put our faith into action as a grace-filled family. You don't have to be good enough, smart enough, or 'religious enough' to worship here. You don't have to know what you believe or have the Bible memorized. You are welcome here because you are one of God's children on the journey of life. Come and see! At Memorial, we honor our distinct history both internationally and locally and follow the guidance of The United Methodist Church to have “Open Hearts, Open Minds and Open Doors.” We hear a calling from Christ to reach out in service, particularly to the poor and under-served in our local community. One of our greatest blessings here at Memorial is the presence of children around our church on Sunday mornings. Children are always welcome and encouraged to be a part of the services. Sunday Services: 8:00AM - Casual, Traditional Worship with Weekly Communion 9:30AM - Contemporary Worship with a Band 11:00AM - Formal, Traditional Worship with a Choir Taizé Worship: The first Sunday night of each month (except May) at 6:00PM at Trinity United Methodist Church (701 Ash Street) We also offer communion each week at 8:00AM Service and the first Sunday of each month at 9:30AM and 11:00AM Services. All are welcome at the Lord's Communion Table no matter your background, age, or denomination.
