ARCOT: It’s A Special World After All is The Arc Nassau’s signature globally inspired gala celebrating inclusion, diversity, and the incredible abilities of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Inspired by the spirit of worldwide cultural celebration, ARCOT invites guests to “travel” through immersive country-themed experiences featuring international cuisine, entertainment, cultural displays, and interactive exhibits that highlight how communities around the world embrace and support individuals with special needs. 

More than just a gala, ARCOT is a journey of community, awareness, and advocacy. The event brings together families, businesses, sponsors, and supporters to raise critical funds for The Arc Nassau’s life-changing programs, including life skills development, employment training, community inclusion, transportation services, and future residential initiatives. ARCOT celebrates the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to be seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
